Set 2 from Monday’s Warriors Championship Parade. Photo 1: Milanda and Tadd. They’ll be in the Pride Parade tomorrow with Fogo na Roupa.The Pink Triangle, atop San Francisco’s Twin Peaks, is an acre-wide LED art installation that commemorates the pink triangle that Nazis used to identify and persecute gay prisoners in concentration camps. The triangle is lit for all of Pride Month, June 1-30, as a reminder of persecution and steadfastness against it.Strength in Numbers. Set 1 from the Warriors Championship Parade. There was so much jubilant feeling all day. Once Klay Thompson’s bus rolled by (photo 8), there was no containing the crowd, who jumped the barricades and joined the parade in progress (photo 9). Go Dubs!Space Age. 🚀Ubiquitous and hearty Red Valerian (aka Centranthus Ruber, Keys to Heaven and Jupiter’s Beard). These are everywhere in San Francisco this spring—in vacant lots and pretty Victorian front yards, sneaking through fences and up from sidewalk cracks. One person’s wildflower, another’s weed.
